I am excited to announce that a graphic novel that I have been working on since 2016 is finally complete and will be available in print shortly.
It is based on one of Croatia’s greatest heroes, Nikola Zrinski, and his heroic stand in the town of Siget back in 1566 against an overwhelming Ottoman army consisting of over 100,000 troops. Nothing quite like this relating to this event has been produced to date, and it’s a beautifully illustrated graphic novel that I spent many years researching and writing.

The cover artwork of the special hardcover edition has been illustrated by none other than one of Croatia’s greatest artist of all time, fellow Sydney-based Charles Billich, to whom I’m immensely grateful for his contribution to this project.
Below is the video trailer that will tell you more about the events covered in the graphic novel. I hope you like the book and support this project, which will be published internationally in several different languages.
The brave deeds of Nikola Zrinski and his men should never be forgotten.
