Following the successful launch of The Mapmaker at the New York Comic Con in 2019, my all-ages fantasy adventure series was picked up by the US-based Scout Comics, which I was absolutely thrilled with.
I had been following the progress Scout Comics were making for some years now, and I was very excited to see The Mapmaker join their growing library of fantastic titles.
The Mapmaker was featured in December 2020 Previews for February 2021 release, and it received a Spotlight from Diamond!
Issue #1 is out now, which will be followed by the complete 124-page volume as part of Scout Comics’ Nonstop line. The feedback received thus far has been great and I am really happy to have had the opportunity to bring this fun tale to a wider, international audience.
I look forward to the release of the collected volume in the coming months. This, however, does not mean it’s the end of The Mapmaker! There will be more tales from the world of The Mapmaker as we return to production later this year with the brilliant Francesca Carita once again illustrating the new series.
